Paul's Priorities for Galt
Public safety. Fiscal responsibility. Transparent leadership. Here is where Paul stands.
Public safety has always been my top priority. During my time on City Council, we approved drones, Flock camera systems, body cameras, and new police vehicles. We also created a position of Captain within the Galt PD.
From the first day on Council, I have kept an open door policy and always offered my personal cell phone number. I am the first councilmember to have open office hours.
When I first came onto the City Council, we were handed a 1 million dollar budget deficit. We made the necessary cuts to better balance the city budget. I will continue to search for opportunities to eliminate wasteful spending.
I believe we need to be smart and calculated about how our city grows. We approved CFDs for all new housing developments, ensuring developers pay their fair share.
Galt is truly a special place to live, work, raise a family, and retire. I will continue to focus on maintaining our quality of life without losing our small town charm.
I am a big supporter of both the Senior Resource Center and the Galt Teen Center. I will continue to offer my support to help ensure they remain successful.
I have always been the strongest supporter of our local businesses. I want to continue making Galt a business-friendly environment and provide more jobs to keep our tax dollars local.
